The Trip The Changed It All: The Grand Tetons and Bears
Once we had walked around Jackson, we decided to take the short drive over to the Grand Tetons... Jenny Lake, under the Tetons, was rated as one of the top places to camp in the United States by Sunset magazine. Take a look why. Here are Danny and I posing in front of different parts of the lakeIt is Gorgeous here!I seriously couldn't take enough photos...Paved trails meander around the lake...so you can capture the beautiful view from every angleDanny pretended to run from a bear on our way out:And then as we were leaving the Tetons to go to Yellowstone...We actually saw a bear! The first of many wild animals we would see on this trip

ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Love all the pics. And the bear is awesome.
ReplyDeleteJealous!!!! Have YET to see a bear in the Hole. Ridiculous. My husband was actually like 100 feet away from a yearling once -- not on purpose!! He said it was freaky but he was thankfully close to one of his company's vehicles and just hopped on in.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the lakes in Grand Teton, but they sure are cold!
