Weekend Mountain Wedding: And We Danced

Hey there Hive! Sorry I've been absent for so long. Geeze I must look like such a slacker! To tell you the truth, life has been crazy over here. Mr. Espresso and I have been have been making a lot of radical changes in our lives in order to pursue our dreams. Both of us were getting a little tired of sitting in 2 hours of traffic every night from jobs we didn't like, only to come home, make dinner, clean up, and barely have any time together before starting it all over again.

So we decided to put our foot down and finally do something about it! We're currently preparing to embark on an adventure across the United States- living in different places for a year or so at a time until we find a place we love. Because of that we packed up and moved out of our house and into a temporary location. I've quit my job and am in the middle of securing a temporary job, while also running a small home business, before we leave. We've also already been talking with businesses at our first stop and should be moving within the next few months! I understand this all can seem a bit crazy, but a lot of thought, prayer and late night talks with each other and our family and friends have gone into this- and we know it's the right thing for us to do.

So now that I've caught you up on my current adventure with my husband- let's get back to finishing the recaps from our Weekend Mountain Wedding with our First Dance as a married couple.

Press Play to listen to our song (Wonderwall by Ryan Adams) as you read:

Now the Mr. and I didn't do much dancing as a non married couple- so we were a little nervous about being on display in front of everyone.

But soon enough we were laughing and having a great time.I also had asked Brian our dj to invite our wedding party onto the dance floor midway through the song. If you're a little nervous about having all eyes on you two throughout the dance, I highly recommend this. As soon as our wedding party joined us- the two of us could really relax and enjoy each other. And we definitely couldn't resist watching our ring bearer and flower girl grab each other for some dancing as well...Hearing our song drift between the pines as we danced on our wedding day was a truly magical moment...Our guests were enjoying themselves...We were enveloped in the moment...And life was good
