Mountain Living

In preparation for this baby girl, who's currently 6 days late, I've fallen behind on my blogging again. Oops! But here's a look at what mountain living looked like last month. Lots more updates to come!! :)

Hiking with friends...

Driving through town...

 Mavi thoroughly enjoying himself...

Catching up on some reading for my Gospel Community group...

When I was 10 days out from the little miss' due date...

Snacking on Pomegranate Popsicles

Garage Saling below the Tetons...

Surprising the hubs at work with yummy breakfast from our favorite bakery...

Decorating our neighbor's animal skull with dandelions on my walk home...

Exploring roads and properties I've never gone down before...

Walking with my friend trying to get the babies out (her little girl is now 3 weeks old)

And our wonderful non-prego friend who put up with my slow walking pace...

Trees in bloom on my street...

 Lots of thunderstorms lately...

And admiring my neighbor's pretty flowers...

Homemade Sticky Buns! Yum!

I bumped this recipe I posted about over 2 years ago up in the blog just in case any of y'all missed it. What I love most about it (besides the delicious taste) is how incredibly easy it is to make! Always a plus in my book. It's also an unspoken but understood request every time my brother comes to visit. I hope you enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

***Original Post***

I know a lot of us have seen and drooled over this Sticky Bun recipe on Pinterest. It's eye catching. It's delicious. And it's basically dessert for breakfast... which is kind of the best kind. So on the day after Christmas, I decided to try this bad boy out... and oh I am so glad I did.

Butter your bundt pan- that's an order. Next combine 3 Tablespoons melted butter with 1/2 cup of maple syrup in one bowl and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon with 1/3 cup of brown sugar in another. Pour half of each bowl (start with the butter mixture) into the pan.

Line the biscuits along the pan, overlapping one over the other to form a ring. I used 1 tube of Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits.

Top with remaining syrup and sugar mixture. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown at 375 degrees.

Flip over. And then enjoy every sticky, last bite!

SHOP CLOSURES!

Hello! I just wanted to let you all know that both Silver Pencils Bridal and Silver Pencils Home will be temporarily closing starting Monday as we prepare for the arrival of our baby girl in just 12 days!! Because of that, I'm offering 30% off of EVERYTHING in SP Home until then (Headbands, kid items, scarves, jewelry, everything!) Just enter coupon code HELLOBABY at checkout for discount to be applied.

I may keep the shops open with a few Ready to Ship products until she arrives, but I still haven't decided on that, and even if I do- the selection will be extremely limited.

Silver Pencils will reopen sometime again in the fall. But we want to take these first couple months to just completely enjoy our little girl- plus I think with the lack of sleep I'll be getting- sewing could be a very dangerous endeavor :)

Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks so much for supporting Silver Pencils for 4 years now!
