Spring in the Mountains

Spring in the mountains is so different from the warmth I grew up with in California. Up here, it'll be 40 one day, snowing the next, 60 degrees and sunny the following day, and then 5 hours later raining with a snow forecast coming in again. It's unpredictable, challenging at times, and beautiful. Happy Tuesday All!

What's Happening?

Wow... I've just totally fallen off the wayside when it comes to blogging. Maybe one post a month... maybe? Truth is, between being pregnant, running my business, spending time with my husband, cleaning, cooking, church activities, a Christian counseling course I've been taking and all the homework that comes with that, and then just random everyday activities... finding time to blog has just been a little difficult. I still need to post about the wonderful baby shower thrown for us and I have tons of photos to upload for my Mountain Living posts... so  I'm hoping to get to both of those uploaded soon. I also have some recipe posts... hhmmmm... they're coming. I haven't given up on this blog. I truthfully love it and the community aspect of being involved in eachother's lives. So I don't really know the point of this post, except to say that I haven't disappeared forever... I'll be back.

12 Years

12 years ago today, this very decisive girl told this very funny and gorgeous guy she wanted to be his girlfriend. 6 years later he married her in the middle of the forest surrounded by all their family and friends. And now 6 years later they're expecting a beautiful, baby girl.

In these 12 years God has done a work in us. We've gone through really hard times and really good times. But God has used the bad for good and blessed us beyond measure. I'm so thankful for these 12 years I've had by your side Danny Reed.
