So Alive

I've been listening to my Ryan Adams today. "So Alive" is a song that could make anyone feel good

Wild & Fun

These are my wild & fun St. John heels. I feel like when I wear these- I can channel Steve Martin by saying, "I'm just a wild and crazy guy" except I'd insert "girl" :) They're suede, purple, and gold lined- totally the opposite of anything I'd ever wear- but I fell for them as soon as I spotted them at my favorite thrift store in Costa Mesa. Trouble is: I never wear them because they're too big... I think I'm going to sell them on ebay

Fancy Comfy Chairs

These 2 chairs from Barclay Butera Home look fancy and comfortable all at once. I want to throw a bright green or orange pillow on the white one!

Bright Happy Kitchens

I love cooking, baking, and everything involved with the kitchen. With just one step into Williams Sonoma and I'm already transformed into a little kid purposely touching everything I can't afford. The Le Creuset pots- all displayed in their assorted and sturdy colors. I eagerly pick up each gadget and think up reasons why I would need items such as a cherry pitter and mango pitter. I end up not finding a need for either and move on. I think you get the point. The kithen is one of my creative sanctuaries. I tie my Anthropologie apron on, double click on my itunes cooking playlist and the sound of French & Portuguese music fills the air. That's why when I saw this kitchen from Country Home's "Kitchens Conquered," I suddenly felt the urge to throw on my apron and get to work! I think it's time for some orange glazed blueberry scones!

Eco Friendly Housewarming Gift

I really like this idea Danny Seo gave as a housewarming gift. In a wooden crate, he put all of the essentials that new homeowners often forget to bring or unpack: towels, nice shampoo and soap, energy efficient light bulbs, and a candle. All of his products were organic as well. Earth Day is tomorrow- what are you doing?

Sandra Salisbury Photography

Danny & I have finally picked our wedding photographer and we couldn't be happier with Sandra of Sandra Salisbury Photography. I met with her over coffee and felt like I could talk with her for hours. Check out her blog to see more of her fantastic and creative photography. When we get our engagement photos done I'll be sure and post those too!

Goodbye Snow

Today my dad and I went and visited the site where Danny and I are getting married. And- even though I like snow... it looks so much better without it :) The grass is green, the daffodils are yellow, and it's absolutely beautiful. I could smell the pines walking through. I can't wait!!

Singin in the Rain

I absolutely love Singin in the Rain. Sam & I saw it as part of the summer movie series in the park last August- so much fun watching a great movie outdoors while eating fried chicken salad and sweet biscuits with apple butter. I miss the rain.

Oh Martha

Why am I not as organized as Martha? On her desk- there's an organized spot for everything. I strive for this. I don't sew- but now I suddenly want canisters of thread and ribbon in like colors lining my desk. They would look good next to my organized piles.

San Francisco Love

Danny took me to San Francisco a couple of years ago for my birthday. We were walking around and exploring when we found this awesome church up by Knob Hill. I'm so happy I was able to get this shot of him. I love it!

I Heart Wedding Blogs

A few months after Danny proposed, I stumbled into the world of Wedding Blogs. I was just a simple girl, searching around the internet for some wedding ideas and Boom! I was hooked. They're now my most frequented sites and I can't get enough of them. I've decided to start my own blog: containing a mix of the people I LOVE, the things I like, and the ideas I can't get enough of. I hope you enjoy!
